Courtney Cheyne
Director
Courtney Cheyne earned her Bachelor's degree in Theatre Arts and Dance from California State University, Los Angeles. Her dance career commenced at Debbie Reynolds Studio, where she trained under the mentorship of Patsy and Rowdy Metzger. Bringing over 25 years of experience, she has worked closely with acclaimed dance choreographers affiliated with Diavolo Dance Theater, Los Angeles Ballet, and LA Contemporary Dance Company.
Marc Miranda
Hip Hop Instructor
Marc Miranda leads our after-school hip-hop class, welcoming all SPHS Dance Program members. With a background as a choreographer and hip-hop instructor, Marc is the creative mind behind dance groups such as Family Bizness and Hit-List. Additionally, he has mentored dance teams like Marc Miranda Project, Mischief Makers, Mavyn Entertainment, Academy of Swag, The Mob, and Goon Squad.
Claire Kucera
Ballet Instructor
Claire Kucera leads our after-school Ballet class and is a talented artist with extensive dance training. She honed her skills at the prestigious Dance Conservatory of Pasadena and is currently studying at the University of California, Irvine in pursuit of a BFA in dance. Her passion lies in choreography, aiming to establish herself as a versatile dancer in the performing arts world.
Megan Paradowski
Contemporary Instructor
Megan Paradowski leads our Inter/Adv contemporary after-school class. She started dancing at three in College Station, Texas, mastering commercial styles, classical ballet, & contemporary dance. Megan earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance at the Tisch School of the Arts, NYU. At NYU, she showcased pieces by choreographers like Sean Curran, MADBOOTS DANCE, & Ronald K. Brown.
